When in your life did you feel the most alone?


I am always alone. I mean, really alone. Most of the time. I don't exactly have time to wander around and make friends. I don't seem to have time for much beyond my work, honestly. I know Anna and Carl would probably be trying to argue with me on this point, but when it comes down to it, during the big fight... I am, ultimately, alone. I have weapons and training and knowledge and suggestions, but no one else is standing beside me when I take down Dracula or when I beat the werewolf. That is just not how this job works. Do I want it to be different? Haven't exactly had time to think about it, really. Haven't exactly wanted to think about it. I'm always focused on something else; something that seems more important; something that involves my job. I don't have time to think about being alone.
