"What can you say is truly yours?"

Nothing. I have nothing that I can claim as truly 'mine'. One may think one's memories truly belong to them - trust me. They do not. They can be taken. Easily.

Family? That can also be taken from you. As easily as your memories.

And how do I know this? Mine have been taken from me. I have only memories of the last seven or eight years. No memories of anything before that - well, few memories of anything before that. And no memories of any family that might still be mine.

Nothing.

All I have is what you see of me now and even that can be taken from me, just as my memories… my life… have been taken.

I have nothing.

Sabine looks at Gabriel and bits her lower lip. "You have who you are now..." She said quietly. "The man you turned to be, your integrity. The goodness within your soul. They can be easily taken away too I would supposse, but the goodness in oneself, it will always be there, no matter how much they would try to take it away from you... I do not know... that is not always like that I guess... but in the midtime, you do have those things..."
