Lucifer wakes up, rolls over and drapes his naked self across the naked body of the man beside him - beautiful man that he is. He slides fingers through his hair, down his face, along the column of his throat and over his chest, skimming a nipple, dipping a finger into his navel before smoothing a hand over a hipbone, down a thigh, then back up to cup his cock. He's not trying to wake him, rather keep him relaxed and asleep. It probably won't work, but that's okay too. The things that happen when Azazel is awake are just as fantastic as those that happen when he's asleep.
Lucifer shifts and swirls his tongue around a nipple over and over and over... still not trying to wake him up, just wanting an early morning taste.

"I expected you to do as I told you, my Lord. I'll know in future."
He traces patterns on Lucifer's skin, gently extracting himself to hop to the bathroom to bring in a damp, warm washcloth.
Which hits Lucifer inna face as Azazel flops into bed beside him.
And who said romance was dead?

He tugs the washcloth from his face and reaches a hand over to tug Azazel to him, claiming Azazel's lips with his own. "Under proper circumstances, I will do exactly as you ask."
no subject
"And what are the proper circumnstances?"

There's a loud crack of thunder and suddenly there are additional people in the room.
no subject
"Did you order room service?" he asks, looking around at them. He knows who they are. It's why he's trying to make light of the situation.

A stern voice: "You know why we're here."
****
"Of course I do. It's just no fun if I play along straight from the beginning."
****
Stern voice: "You will dress and come with us."
****
"Why? Haven't we been through this enough times already?"
no subject
"Can't we just do it here to save us leaving the bed?"
***
"You will dress and come with us."
***
"Fuck off; I'm sick of this shit."
no subject
They don't seem pleased.
****
"Look, you're just gonna tell us the same thing you told us before. So, why don't we just make a deal?" Of course, he's not going to offer up the details until he knows they'll at least listen.
****
Stern voice: "What kind of deal?"
****
Huh...
"Why don't you just do whatever to us and let us live on Earth? We don't want to go back anyway. Strip our power, whatever. Just don't separate us."
Because that would suck like it did the last fifty times... and the fifty before that... and that...
****
There's silence while the others ponder this for a moment.
It's taking a really long time.
One of them, the stern-voiced one, turns to them again. "Very well. We have agreed to accept your deal, but you will abide our conditions or face the consequences."
no subject
"What?"
He looks at Lucifer.
"WHAT?"
He blinks.
"What are the conditions?"
no subject
****
Stern voice: "The conditions are: You will live on Earth, among the humans. You will have no wings and limited power. You will hold jobs and pay rent and look no different from the rest. Lodgings have been arranged." He waves a hand toward the table by the wall where a folder appears. "If you fail to comply, we reserve the right to return you for trial. Do you agree?"
no subject
No wings.
He touches Luc's face. Beautiful and perfect and fragile and strong and there's only one answer.
"I do. If you do."
no subject
"Why no wings?"
****
Stern voice: "Because you are giving up what you are. You no longer need them."
no subject
He looks at the Others, frowning.
no subject
Obviously, they do not wish to agree to this, but they ponder and discuss for a moment...
It's another one of those long moments...
It allows tension to build...

Stern voice: "Very well. It has been decided. The wings may stay, but if any mortal lays eyes on them, they will be removed." Another pause. "Are we agreed?"
no subject
"I agree; yes. Lucifer?"
BEAM.
no subject
****
Stern voice: "As you ask." He nods. "We will not interfere with your lives as long as you abide the conditions."
And the assembled audience is gone.
no subject
But he turns, and looks at Lucifer.
And blinks.
"Well, that went well."
no subject
"Except we have to move."
no subject
"Shit."
no subject
"To New York."
no subject
"Doesn't sound too bad. Where?"
no subject
"Apartment complex called 'Olympian Meadows.'"
no subject
"Come back to bed. We can worry about this tomorrow."
