Connor locks the front door to the shop and pulls the blind over the window before turning off the lights. He grabs his coat from the stand by the door, tosses it over one arm and makes his way to the elevator that leads to his apartment above the store. He closes the elevator door and presses the button that will take him 'home'. The elevator rattles and shakes, like it always does, the lights flicker a bit - which only happens during storms, only it's not raining now. Shifting his eyes around the small confines, he sees nothing out of the ordinary, but he is on his guard anyway - just in case. The small car shakes again and jarrs to a stop. The lights go out. Even in the dark, Connor knows where his sword is, he draws it and holds it ready at his side. The lights return and the doors slide open before him.
