Russell Nash. Pleasure. I'm gonna make this quick, I have to get back to work. I like brandy and Glenmorangie. I live in New York, run an antique shop and don't deal in exotic weapons. No, you can't ride in my car and I hate wrestling. Only thing I go to MSG for is hockey. I used to go for the circus, but Rachel's a bit too old for that now. Okay, that's enough if you want me to answer the question...
[visible only to those who know about Connor's immortality - and also his real name]
Reflect on the past year in your life. Did you have children? Did you find 'God', forsake God? Did you marry? Break up? What was this past year like in your life?
The answer to all the questions but the last one is 'No.' As for what the past year was like... surprisingly uneventful.
Though, there was a rumor that Duncan cut off my head to defeat someone else. Funny that. I can't imagine any reason why I'd let him get that close with a blade.
Can't imagine who would start such a nasty rumor, either. I'm not dead. Don't intend to be either. For that matter, Rachel's not dead either. My shop hasn't been blown up and I don't know anyone named Jacob Kell.
The only other thing of interest was mynot-rockin' New Year's Eve party. You can't see that big ball of light drop from my roof anymore. Damn buildings.

...Is this the duel that you are willing to re-enact if asked when drunk? A friend mentioned it once.

Willing might not be the right term.
The trick is to get him drunk enough that he volunteers for the reenactment.
Hello Nash, good to see you again.
OOC: Hi! I've had Methos mention he's crossed paths' with Connor though he's taken certain glee in never mentioning this to Duncan directly. He always thought it was best to hold in reserve for a rainy day. I've had it that they aren't after each others head, and Methos thinks of him fondly, particularly as Ramirez' last student (he was very fond of Ramirez) but the details can be worked out in improv.
I'm all for collaborating on this.
In fact, I would be game for creating a persona for Connor to have met, from scratch if you are game! With quirks and events that we come up with as we play. Though I figure shades of his other personas would show through.
I've left big gaps in Methos timeline for JUST such fun.
There's some openings in the 1600's, mid 1700's, late 1800's, and he was at Woodstock and all about civil rights reform in the States back in the day then, even had an American accent at the time.

No, I won't re-enact it, drunk or otherwise.
No, don't try to get my drunk to *get* me to re-enact it.
Hello, Old Man.
And - don't ever tell me the version that he told you.
[ooc: Oooh - keeping secrets from Duncan sounds very much like fun! *g* And as far as when they met - erm - late 1700's would probably work - would explain how Methos knows about the duel on Boston Common (though he could've picked that up from any number of places - Kastigir, for one - but anyway - ping Connor's AIM if you have AIM, or let me know if you want to coordinate via email. ;)]
